The Lobster Pot is one of my favorite restaurants in Rhode Island.
Its location, right on the waterfront of a small cove in Narragansett Bay, is absolutely gorgeous. The cove typically has a few boats and sailboats moored about 50 to 100 yards from the restaurant creating a beautiful and scenic backdrop to watch the sunset as you enjoy your meal.
The food is good. The seafood is of excellent quality. Its namesake lobster dishes are fresh and well prepared.
Its wine list requires a little bit of work, but it has a few good options you can select from.
The service staff is nice, friendly, and helpful.
Our family was in the Lobstrer Pot on Sunday, celebrating father's day. The food was delicious, the service was very attentive and even the owner came to our table and asked if we are happy with everything, which I think is very rear. We are from New York and don't see this often. We felt like we are home.
And of course I have to mention their calamari- the best I ever ate.
My wife and I just celebrated our 50TH wedding anniversary at the Lobster Pot with our immediate family, a group of 12. Everything was perfect, the atmosphere, the food , and the service. Jeff the manager allowed us to use the banquet room so we could have a private get together. He also allowed my two daughters to add some special decorations for a personal touch. I would highly recommend this establishment for your special function. I am definitely a satisfied customer.
Parking is a bit tight, the food is FANTASTIC and the service CANNOT be beat. The owners are personable, friendly, and very present. I was amazed at the friendliness of the other diners. Just a great evening!
Cozy, quaint establishment. Delightful staff, very friendly and warm. Spectacular views of the bay. Food is delicious. Price is what you expect from a perfect location.
Excellent views, service and food. Fresh seafood. Delicious raw shellfish. Great beer and wine lists. I will definitively go back!
Amazing food and great service. The scallops and parmesan risotto was fantastic. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to eat here during my stay.
Went there today for lunch with my mom and a very good friend and her daughter. Had a great waitress and great food and the view is fabulous.
Top of the Seafood restaurant, since 1929, so they must be doing something right. Fresh Seafood, great atmosphere and perfect waterfront location. Highly recommend for entire family.
Great, fresh fish. Terrific service, best views, indoor and outdoor seating, close in proximity to home.
Great lunch spot! Bonnie was an excellent bartender and made my initial visit look forward to the next foray.
The restaurant is hands down my favorite place to go to. The service and food is superb. Atmosphere is peaceful and has such a beautiful view all year round.
The food was delicious, the view was spectacular, and the service was fast and friendly! The only downsides are parking can be tough if they're busy (it was pretty busy when we went and it took some shuffling to get in and out of the lot, a couple 9 point turns to get my SUV out after dinner) and it's a bit pricey for the lobster, but you get what you pay for and was well worth the money.
We ordered calimari for an appetizer and the waitress told us they were out. I was a bit disappointed but turns out to be a good thing because we got the crabcakes instead and wow! They were amazing! Absolutely amazing. My girlfriend got the fish n chips and I got the baked stuffed lobster and it was the best I've ever had! 5 stars! The scallops stuffed inside were melt in your mouth tender, and the lobster and stuffing mix were just perfect.
It's a bit of a drive for us to get there but it was worth it. I look forward to coming back again.
Well above average local seafood. You will long remember the quality food, and soon forget the bill. If not for the fact that no restaurant is perfect, I could have given this a 5 star review. Just saying...
We showed up when they were extremely busy and they squeezed us in. Increbible food and great service. Good atmosphere, and view of the bay.
